Design Technik delivers acoustics performance for The Pinnacle, Nashville - Pollstar Awards' New Concert Venue of the Year.
Acoustics and architecture specialists Design Technik's proprietary technologies were applied to entire wall surfaces to tune the venue from sub-low through high-frequencies while maintaining visual aesthetics.
Editorial Alert: Design Technik congratulates its client AEG Presents on the naming of the flagship AEG Presents venue, The Pinnacle in Nashville, TN, as the New Concert Venue of the Year in the Pollstar Awards 2026.
The Pinnacle, now celebrating a highly successful first year of business, sits within Nashville Yards and has already welcomed artists ranging from Eric Church to Paul McCartney. The 4,500-seat venue was designed to be both visually striking and sonically versatile, serving concerts that span everything from intimate performances to full-scale production events.
Design Technik says the project was a remarkable collaboration from the earliest stages. Working with AEG Presents and the broader venue team, the company brought decades of research, experimentation, product refinement and application know-how together to shape the room's acoustic performance without compromising the architectural vision.
Using its proprietary treatment approach, Design Technik was able to manage reflected energy, control stage volume and preserve the room's high-end look. The result is a venue where the sound remains clear and controlled from the stage through the back of the house, whether the room is set for seated shows or opened for standing-room events.
As one of the most talked-about new rooms in Nashville, The Pinnacle is built to serve the wide range of artists and audiences that define the city's live music culture. The new Pollstar honor underscores the venue's early impact and the importance of acoustics as a core part of the audience experience.
